The Regensburg European American Forum (REAF) is the central interdisciplinary platform for academic exchange, research, and teaching in the fields of American Studies at the University of Regensburg. REAF was founded in 2008 as a joint venture of the department of American Studies and of International Politics and Transatlantic Relations. REAF hosts special lectures, roundtables, and conferences and supports B.A and M.A. programs in American Studies and European American Studies. Doctoral students from a variety of interdisciplinary programs and visiting professors from around the world regularly contribute to REAF events.
